South Sea Watersdale Hospital <Jennifer's Room>
Julia turns to face Dr. Lewis. Tears still streaming down her face.

Julia: "Dr. Lewis, are you sure there's a possibility of Jennifer dying?"
Dr. Lewis: "There is a possibility. I'm positive."
Martin: "There has to be something you can do to prevent this. I don't want my daughter to die."
Dr. Lewis: "I don't want her to die either, but as long as she continues to fall in and out of consciousness, then there is a total possibility."

Jennifer starts to cough. She opens her eyes. Julia, Martin and Dr. Lewis go over to her.

Martin: "Jenny. You're back!"
Jennifer: "Dad. Hi. What's going on?"
Martin: "You don't remember?"
Jennifer: "I know that I was in the hospital, but then I thought I was discharged. It must have been a dream."
Julia: "The important thing is that you're back. You sound and look so much stronger all of a sudden."
Dr. Lewis: "Yes, you're right Mrs. Randall. Jennifer, do you mind if I check your vitals again?"
Jennifer: "No, go right ahead Dr. Lewis."

Dr. Lewis shines a small flashlight into her eyes. He checks the pulse on her wrist and also pushes on her stomach.

Dr. Lewis: "Everything seems to be back to normal. That is so strange. I've never seen something quite like this happen before."
Martin: "It's wonderful!"
Julia: "It's a miracle!"
Jennifer: "So, can I go home now, Dr. Lewis?"
Dr. Lewis: "Don't get too far ahead of yourself. I'm very happy that youre recovering so nicely, it gives me great relief. However, I want you to stay here today and through the night. You'll be able to rest if you are here, and you'll be safer if something unexpected happens."
Jennifer: "Okay."
Dr. Lewis: "Excuse me?"
Jennifer: "I said okay. Is there a problem?"
Dr. Lewis: "No, no problem. I'm just surprised that you agreed so quickly. Usually you argue with me on everything that I say."
Jennifer: "I know, but I see that you have a point for me staying here and when I go home I want to be able to stay there, not have to come back if something unexpected happens."
Dr. Lewis: "I'm glad you see it my way. I'm going to leave you three alone now. I'll be back to check on you later, Jenny."

Dr. Lewis walks out of the room. Jennifer looks at Julia and Martin and just smiles.

Quinn Home <Living Room>
Ellen is sitting on the couch watching television. Amy walks in through the kitchen.

Amy: "What are you watching?"
Ellen: "I taped a soap opera all this week and now I'm watching the episodes."
Amy: "Aren't you going to get dressed and go out...or go and see mom at the hospital?"
Ellen: "No."
Amy: "Well, do you mind if I watch this with you?"
Ellen: "No."
Amy: "What's going on?"
Ellen: "These two are in love and they are searching for the guys parents and her mother might turn out to be his mother too."
Amy: "Yuck! Brother and sister in love...that's disgusting! It's incest!"
Ellen: "Well, what are you going to do? It's a soap opera."

Suddenly the doorbell rings.

Amy: "I'll get it."

She gets up and opens the door. It's Alexis and Vanessa.

Amy: "Hey girls! What's up?"
Alexis: "Nothing, we're just coming to check on you."
Vanessa: "Yeah. I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. Do you know if she is any better now?"
Amy: "No, my grandparents haven't called yet. But, what are you waiting for? Come in!"

Alexis and Vanessa walk into the house. They take off their coats, gloves and scarf's and place them on a chair. Alexis and Vanessa turn back to Amy.

Alexis: "Are you sure that you're okay?"
Amy: "Of course I'm sad about my mother being in the hospital, but I know she'll be fine."
Alexis: "It's good to have a lot of faith."
Amy: "Yes. My grandmother told me that if I keep the faith alive, then my mother will be just fine."
Alexis: "I hope so."

The three girls walk into the living room and sit on the couch with Ellen. Ellen gets up and sits in a nearby chair. Everyone ignores her actions.

Amy: "What's going on with these people, Ellen?"
Ellen: "That woman just found out that her husband has a baby with another woman. She fell down the stairs when she found out. She lost her baby and now she is back at the hospital for a check up to make sure she is okay and all recovered."
Vanessa: "Your mom fell down the stairs, that's why she's in the hospital, right?"
Amy: "No, my father pushed her."
Ellen: "No, he didn't!"
Amy: "She doesn't want to admit it."
Ellen: "I know he didn't push her! I can't believe that you can think that."
Alexis: "How about we talk about something else. You two were getting along before and I don't want to see you start fighting again."
Amy: "You're right. I'm sorry Ellen."

Ellen remains silent and continues to watch TV. Alexis, Vanessa and Amy stare at her waiting for her to apologize to Amy, as well.

Wilson Home <Spare Bedroom>
Dominique walks into the spare bedroom with her coat on. Kyle is sitting at the computer working on some things.

Dominique: "Kyle, honey, I'm going to run to the bank and then stop by the grocery store and the hospital to check on Jennifer, okay?"
Kyle: "Okay, but before you go, come here for a second."

Dominique walks over to Kyle. He points to the computer screen she looks at it.

Dominique: "What is it?"
Kyle: "It's the Wilson Family Web Page. Do you like it?"
Dominique: "It's nice, but why did you make us a web page?"
Kyle: "It's the new big thing. Everybody has a web page now days, so I thought it would be fun to have one for ourselves, for the family. We can put anything we want on it...pictures, news about what we're up to, anything."
Dominique: "It's nice. I'm sure that Alexis and Matt will love it."
Kyle: "Yes, I know, but I'm not going to let them play with it."
Dominique: "Don't count on me playing with it either. You know I hate messing with that kind of stuff."
Kyle: "I know. That's why Roger and I will run it."
Dominique: "Have fun. I'll see you later."

Dominique gives Kyle a quick kiss on the lips. She turns and is about to leave when Kyle calls her.

Kyle: "Wait. You were going to tell me something about Roger before. What was it?"
Dominique: "Oh...right...Roger. Um, I saw him at the hospital and I was wondering why he was there. He told me that he was visiting a friend, but..."

Roger storms into the room.

Roger: "Don't you dare say another word, Dominique!"

Dominique and Kyle look at Roger standing in the doorway. They both look shocked...especially Kyle.

O'Keffe Home <Living Room>
Andrea is smiling. She jumps up and hugs Brittany.

Andrea: "This is so wonderful! My daughter is actually dating Douglas Richmond Jr.! I can't believe it. This is so great!"
Brittany: "Mom, you're happier then I am. Calm down."
Andrea: "I just can't believe this is happening. Everything your father and I have ever wanted is about to come true!"
Jim: "This is the best thing you've ever done, Brittany. I'm very proud of you."
Andrea: "As am I."
Brittany: "Mom, dad, I'm glad that you're happy for me, I really am, but I want to make one thing clear to both of you. I'm not dating Doug so you guys will be happy and get everything that you want, okay? I'm not dating him for his money either."
Andrea: "Have you gone insane? What other reasons could you have?"
Brittany: "I really like him...is that a good enough reason? I really, really like him. I think that I may even fall in love with him soon."
Jim: "That's all great, Brittany, but you can't say that the fact that he has money did not contribute to your decision."
Brittany: "It didn't! If he were the poorest man in the world..."
Andrea: "If he were to poorest man in the world I wouldn't allow you to date him."
Brittany: "Mom, let me finish. If he were the poorest man in the world, I would still like him, just the same."
Andrea: "You can't be serious. I've taught you better then that!"
Brittany: "Mom, can I be blunt with you?"
Andrea: "Of course, just don't call me a bitch again."
Brittany: "You haven't taught me jack."
Andrea: "Excuse me?"
Jim: "Don't talk to your mother that way!"
Brittany: "She gave me permission."
Andrea: "I taught you everything that they don't teach you in school."
Brittany: "Hm, let's see. Like how to be slut to get everything you want? That's real useful, isn't it?"
Andrea: "Are you calling me a slut?"
Brittany: "If the shoe fits."
Jim: "Brittany!"
Andrea: "Why do I let you talk to me this way? I'm your mother. Go to your room!"
Brittany: "I'm nineteen. I don't have to go to my room."
Andrea: "You listen to me, young lady. As long as you live under this roof, you will respect and obey me, your father and our rules."
Brittany: "Fine...I won't have to deal with you for that much longer then. I'm moving out."

Brittany walks out of the living room and goes upstairs. Andrea and Jim are in shock. They look at each other, both of their jaws nearly on the floor.

Lee Home <Living Room>
Richard and Mariah walk back into the living room. Maria and Katie are sitting on the couch.

Richard: "Katie, I want you to meet my girlfriend Mariah. Mariah, this is Katie an ex-college colleague."
Katie: "Nice to meet you. You have a great boyfriend here."
Mariah: "Yes, I do."
Katie: "It's so great to see him again."
Mariah: "I'm sure. I understand that you'll be staying here until you find an apartment."
Katie: "Yes. You don't mind, do you? I'd totally understand if you do, though."
Mariah: "No, I don't have a problem with it. I know the two of you are just friends. I'm actually going to be helping you find an apartment."
Katie: "Great. I'll be out of Richard's way even faster then."
Mariah: "Yes. That is the plan."
Richard: "Mariah, that's very nice of you to help Katie."
Maria: "Yes it is, considering."
Mariah: "Considering what?"
Maria: "You don't know?"
Mariah: "Obviously not. What's going on. Tell me, Maria."

Mariah stares at Maria waiting for an answer. Maria stares at everyone else, and quickly thinking what she should say next.

Quinn Home <Living Room>
Amy, Alexis and Vanessa wait for Ellen to apologize. She just stays quiet and watches television.

Vanessa: "Ellen, did you hear what Amy said?"
Ellen: "No, what did she say?"
Amy: "I said that I'm sorry."
Ellen: "Oh, well thank you."
Alexis: "Don't you have something to say to her, Ellen?"
Ellen: "No...no just to her...to all of you. Can you guys keep your voices down or go upstairs or something? I'm trying to watch my soap opera."
Alexis: "That's it? Ellen, she..."
Amy: "Alexis. Don't worry about it. Let's go up to my room."

The three girls go up the stairs and go to Amy's bedroom. Ellen remains in the living room watching the television.

Vanessa: "I can't believe how nasty Ellen can be."
Amy: "Believe it. I have to deal with it everyday. At least you and Alexis only have to deal with her in school."
Alexis: "I don't really have to deal with her at all. She isn't in any of my classes. If I see her in the hall twice a day, then it's a lot."
Vanessa: "You're lucky. She's in almost every one of my classes."
Alexis: "That sucks."
Vanessa: "Tell me about it. You know what she did yesterday? She bumped into me and we had a little fight. She even slapped me."
Alexis: "No. I can't believe it. What a bitch."
Vanessa: "I think she got in trouble, because Miss Myers saw it all. Amy, you never did tell me what happened in the principals office."

Alexis and Vanessa look at Amy. She's crying.

Alexis: "Amy, what's wrong?"
Amy: "Everything. Everything is wrong. My mother is in the hospital. My father and sister are evil. I can't take it anymore. I've put up with my sister's evil ways for almost five years now. I'm just sick of it. My father has become so mean and cold-hearted. Look what he did to my mother. Ellen has no sympathy for whats happening to my mother. Neither does my father. My grandparents...oh my grandparents are hell-bent on putting my father in jail. What else can go wrong? Why is my family so messed up?"
Vanessa: "Calm down Amy. Everything is going to be fine. What happened to that faith that you were holding on to before? Get it back. Have faith that everything is going to turn out just fine."
Amy: "I still have faith that my mother will be fine. I know that she'll be back soon. I know I can help her. Who I can't help is Ellen and my dad. They'll stay mean and cold-hearted for the rest their lives. My family is doomed...doomed to be all screwed up until the end of time."

Amy continues to cry. Alexis and Vanessa sit on either side of her and comfort her.

South Sea Watersdale Hospital <Jennifer's Room>
Jennifer is now sitting up in her bed. Julia and Martin are still sitting by her side.

Jennifer: "I'm so happy that I get to go home tomorrow."
Julia: "So am I. You gave us such a scare. We thought you were going to die."
Jennifer: "Let's not talk about it. It was pretty scary for me too."
Martin: "You have to divorce Sam."
Jennifer: "What?"
Martin: "You have to divorce Sam. He'll keep doing this to you. He's a womanizer."
Jennifer: "Dad, what are you talking about?"
Martin: "Sam pushed you down the stairs. That's why you're here."
Jennifer: "No, I fell down the stairs. Sam didn't push me. Sam wasn't even home when it happened."
Martin: "Are you sure?"
Jennifer: "Positive. What made you think such a thing?"
Martin: "I'm sure that he pushed you."
Jennifer: "Dad, you're mistaken. I had just finished getting ready for work. I was about to start walking down the stairs and I just lost my footing and fell. That's all. Nobody was home. You two must have found me, right?"
Julia: "Yes, we did. Like I said, we were really scared."
Martin: "Honey, you're positive that Sam..."
Julia: "Martin, she's sure."
Martin: "Wait a minute. When you were coming to you were mumbling something. We didn't understand at first, but then we realized what you were saying. You were saying that Sam pushed you. I swear that you did. Why did you say that? Did Sam really push you?"

Jennifer looks away from her father and looks scared. She remains silent.

Martin: "Jennifer Margaret Randall-Quinn, you answer me right now."

Martin looks furious as he stares and Jennifer. She still looks away and stays silent.

Wilson Home <Spare Bedroom>
Dominique and Kyle stare at Roger.

Roger: "What are you talking about Dominique? What are you about to tell Kyle about me?"
Dominique: "I was just telling him that I saw you at the hospital and you said you were visiting a friend. I passed by the room that he was in. I saw you in there...you were talking to him."
Roger: "What did you hear?"
Dominique: "I heard everything. Is that a problem?"
Roger: "No, he's just a friend."
Dominique: "Well, does Kyle know your friend? His name was...um..."
Roger: "James."
Dominique: "Really? I thought it was..."
Roger: "It was James."
Kyle: "James Brown?"
Roger: "Yes."
Kyle: "Why is he in the hospital?"
Roger: "He broke his arm."
Kyle: "Oh, I think I'll go visit him."
Roger: "No! You can't."
Kyle: "Why not?"
Roger: "He's not there anymore."
Kyle: "I'll visit him at his house then."
Roger: "He really doesn't want any visitors at home. He just told me to tell you that hell get in contact with you."
Kyle: "Okay. Well, I'm going to get something to drink. Do you want anything Roger?"
Roger: "No."
Kyle: "Dominique?"
Dominique: "No, thank you. Remember, I have some errands to run."
Kyle: "That's right. Well, I'll walk you out."
Roger: "You know what? Why don't you go and get your drink and I'll see Dominique out, that way we can get going right back on the web page."
Kyle: "Okay. I'll see you later Dominique."

Kyle gives her a quick kiss on the lips and leaves the room. Dominique turns to Roger once Kyle is out of sight.

Dominique: "What was that all about? You were so nervous."
Roger: "You know damn well what that was all about and why I was so nervous. How dare you eaves drop on me."
Dominique: "I was only trying to see if I knew your friend that was in the hospital."
Roger: "I told you that you didn't."
Dominique: "I didn't believe you then."
Roger: "Well, you believe me now, don't you?"
Dominique: "Of course. I don't know any loan sharks."
Roger: "How much did you hear of our conversation."
Dominique: "Like I said, I heard everything."
Roger: "I don't want you to say a word to Kyle about this. I can't believe that you were actually going to just a few minutes ago."
Dominique: "Why shouldn't I tell him anything about your ever so explosive secret?"
Roger: "Because I can blow you out of the water just as fast as you'd be able to do it to me."
Dominique: "You're forgetting something Roger. I actually know your secret. You only have suspicions that I have one. I know that you have a loan shark named Donny and that you owe him money, or he is going to kill you. I know that you just lied to Kyle about who you were visiting in the hospital. I know it all. You have nothing on me. Now exactly whom do you think that Kyle will believe? You, a person who thinks I have a secret, or me, a person who knows that you have a secret."
Roger: "Don't get that holier then thou attitude with me, Dominique. I will uncover your secret and when I do, I'll make sure that Kyle is the first to know about it...then I'll move on to telling your kids and then the whole damn town of Watersdale. Everyone will know and I'm sure that Hudson High will fire you."
Dominique: "Listen Roger, you don't scare me, so don't threatening me. I don't have a secret for you to uncover so I can easily tell Kyle that you are dealing with loan sharks and I'm sure that he'll get Chief Carter to dig even further into it...just to make sure that you're not doing drugs again. You dont want to get Chief Carter involved, do you?"

Roger looks away from Dominique. He looks towards a wall with a blank stare on his face.

Dominique: "My, my Roger, I don't believe that I've ever seen you so scared in your life."
Roger: "I...I...I'm not...I'm not scared."
Dominique: "That's why you're stuttering? I know what you're thinking about right now. You're thinking about the last run in you had with Chief Carter. About how he beat the crap out of you for selling drugs again. I'd be scared of him if I were you too. Like I said, I hold the key to it all. Whether you live or die. Actually, you know what I just realized? If I don't tell Kyle and just forget about what I heard and you don't pay off Donny, he's going to kill you. If I do tell Kyle about it, then he'll get Chief Carter involved and the two of them together will probably kill you. What a dilemma...should I tell Kyle...should I not tell Kyle? Decisions, decisions."

Roger turns and faces Dominique once again. He grabs her by the shoulders tightly and shakes her a little bit.

Roger: "You bitch. I'll find out your secret and then I'll tell Kyle and we'll see how smug you are then."
Dominique: "Get your hands off of me. You don't want me to scream."

Roger continues to hold her tightly. He then lets her go. He stares at her furiously. She looks back at him and smiles.

O'Keffe Home <Living Room>
Andrea and Jim sit on the couch. They still looked shocked by Brittany's announcement.

Jim: "What are we going to do?"
Andrea: "I don't know. All I do know is if she moves out then she'll continue to see Douglas, but we won't get anything out of it and I should get something out of it. I'm the one that wanted this relationship to begin with."
Jim: "Well, we could forbid her to see Douglas again."
Andrea: "We can't do that. If we can't even send her to her room, how could we do that?"
Jim: "I think I have an idea."
Andrea: "Tell me...come on...tell me!"
Jim: "Go take a shower and get dressed and when you're done we have to go somewhere and then I'll tell you what I have planned. I don't want to take the chance the Brittany hearing it."
Andrea: "Okay. I'll be fast."

Andrea runs up the stairs and then the doorbell rings. Jim gets up from the couch and opens the door. Its Megan, Brittany's best friend.

Megan: "Good morning Mr. O'Keffe. How are you?"
Jim: "I'm good. Come on in Megan."

She walks into the house.

Megan: "Is Brittany here?"
Jim: "Yeah, just go right up to her room."
Megan: "Thanks!"

She runs up the stairs. Upstairs in Brittany's bedroom, Brittany is already changed into a tight fitting pair of blue jeans and a tight pink turtleneck sweater. She has luggage on her bed with a pile of clothes next to it. There is a knock at the door. Brittany opens it and sees that its Megan and lets her in. They say 'hi' to each other. Megan sees the luggage and pile of clothes.

Megan: "What's going on here?"
Brittany: "I'm moving out."
Megan: "Moving out? Where will you go?"
Brittany: "I'll stay at the Watersdale Inn until I find my own apartment. I'll start by looking at the Pier Side Apartments and then at the Fall Street Apartments. I'll find someplace to live."
Megan: "But why are you leaving?"
Brittany: "It's a long story that starts last night."
Megan: "I have time and it looks like you do too, so go right ahead and start talking."
Brittany: "Meg, I just..."
Megan: "Tell me the story."
Brittany: "Fine. You know that me, and my mother went to that party at the country club last night, well when we got there she was..."

Brittany continues talking, telling Megan the story of what has been happening.

Lee Home <Living Room>
Mariah continues to wait for Maria's answer. She still says nothing and Richard and Katie look frightened as they wait to hear what Maria has to say.

Mariah: "Answer me Maria. What did you mean when you said considering."
Katie: "I'm sure it was nothing Mariah."
Mariah: "I'd like to hear from my sister if you don't mind, Katie. Now, answer me Maria, what did you mean?"
Maria: "Katie's right. It was nothing."
Mariah: "Well, tell me how much of a nothing it was."
Maria: "I only meant that you're okay with Katie and Richard living together for a little while considering the fact that she's so pretty. See it was nothing."
Mariah: "So what she's pretty. A lot of girls are pretty. It's not like she's trying to steal Richard away from me, right Katie?"
Katie: "Right. I don't want Richard. We're just friends."
Mariah: "Good. Well, I'm going to trust the two of you for the first time because I have to get going. Let's go Maria. Richard, Katie, I'll see the two of you later."

Mariah and Maria walk out of the house. Katie turns and looks at Richard.

Katie: "She's nice...in a way."
Richard: "What do you mean, in a way?"
Katie: "Just that she was sort of rude towards me."
Richard: "She's just being a little defensive. She thinks you're here trying to steal me away from her. I told her not to worry about any of that because I know you're not here for that and even if you were, I wouldn't allow anything to happen between us to derail the relationship that I have with Mariah."
Katie: "Of course not. So, you wouldn't mind me doing this."

Katie steps up to Richard, gently holds the side of his face and passionately kisses him.

South Sea Watersdale Hospital <Jennifer's Room>
Martin and Julia stare at Jennifer waiting for an answer.

Jennifer: "Dad, please calm down. You're getting nervous and hyper. You had a heart attack last time you got like this, I don't want that to happen again."
Martin: "Don't worry about me. If I have a heart attack at least we're in a hospital. I just want you to answer my question. Did Sam push you?"
Jennifer: "I said no."
Martin: "I don't believe you."
Jennifer: "What? Why don't you believe me? I'd tell you if he pushed me. I swear. Please, can you just get me something to drink? I'm really thirsty."
Martin: "Fine. I'll get you something. Julia, do you want something?"
Julia: "Sure, I'll come with you, this way we can call the girls."
Jennifer: "Yes, please call them. See if they can come here. I want to see them so bad."
Julia: "I'll tell them. You just stay there, okay? We'll be right back."

Jennifer nods. Julia and Martin walk out of the room. Jennifer sighs and a tear falls down the side of her face.

Jennifer: "I can't tell them that Sam pushed me. They'll go to the extreme if they find out. Sam was just mad. It was my fault. If I would just left him alone then none of this would have happened. It's my fault that I'm here and Sam shouldn't be blamed. He was only trying to snap me out of it. As long as I keep myself under control he won't have to do anything like this. But, I can never tell mom and dad...never."

Jennifer stays sitting in her bed and waits for Martin and Julia to get back.

O'Keffe Home <Brittany's Bedroom>
Brittany and Megan are sitting across from each other on the bed. Megan's mouth is dropped open and Brittany has just finished telling her what happened.

Brittany: "Are you alright Meg?"
Megan: "You go out with Douglas Richmond Jr."
Brittany: "Why do you keep saying that?"
Megan: "You, Brittany O'Keffe, my best friend, dates Douglas Richmond Jr., the heir to the largest amount of money in the world. There's no way."
Brittany: "It's true, but would you stop saying that?"
Megan: "I cant believe how shocked I am."
Brittany: "Did you hear anything I said after 'so me and Doug are dating'?"
Megan: "Yes, I heard it all, but you...you...you're dating..."
Brittany: "I know who I'm dating! Good Lord, Megan, you act like you've never heard anything like this before."
Megan: "I haven't! You say that as if I have."
Brittany: "Well, anyway, that's the reason why I'm leaving. So, I have to hurry so I can get out of here and hopefully get a room at the Watersdale Inn."
Megan: "Brittany, why don't you just stay with me for a while? I mean, instead of going to the Watersdale Inn."
Brittany: "Really? Can I? You won't mind?"
Megan: "Of course not. We'll have fun! You can bring your boyfriend over."
Brittany: "Shut up."
Megan: "Brittany and Douglas sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g..."
Brittany: "I'm covering my ears! I'm not hearing this!"
Megan: "...First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes little Brittany in a baby carriage."

Megan laughs. Brittany takes her hands away from her ears and throws a pillow at her. They continue to laugh.

Lee Home <Living Room>
Richard pushes away from Katie.

Richard: "What do you think you're doing?"
Katie: "Thanking you."
Richard: "Excuse me?"
Katie: "I'm thanking you. For letting me stay here with you."
Richard: "Mariah is letting you stay here with me too and you didn't kiss her."
Katie: "That's because I'm not in love with Mariah. I'm in love with you, and I know you still love me."

Katie goes back to kiss Richard but he moves and she misses.

Richard: "Katie, what we had is long gone. I thought you said that you realized that?"
Katie: "You said no matter what I did, it wouldn't derail your relationship with Mariah, so I'm just doing what I came here for."
Richard: "Me?"
Katie: "Yes."

Katie gives Richard another passionate kiss. This time they fall back onto the sofa. They remain lying there kissing each other.

Maria's Car <Red Ford Focus>
Maria is driving down the streets of Watersdale. Mariah is sitting in the passenger seat.

Mariah: "Thanks for driving me around while my car is in the shop. I really appreciate it."
Maria: "No problem. What are sisters for?"
Mariah: "Yeah. Can I ask you something?"
Maria: "Go ahead."
Mariah: "Earlier at Richard's house...did you tell me the truth?"
Maria: "The truth about what?"
Mariah: "Well remember you said you were surprised that I was okay with Katie staying with Richard considering how pretty she is?"
Maria: "Yes."
Mariah: "Is that really what you were going to say? Please tell me the truth. I know Katie probably told you things that Richard didn't tell me and I'd be so grateful to you if you told me anything that you feel is important that I know about."
Maria: "There is something."
Mariah: "What is it?"
Maria: "That isn't what I was going to say. I did lie."
Mariah: "What were you going to say?"
Maria: "I was going to say that I was surprised you were okay with Katie staying with Richard considering the past that they have together."
Mariah: "That's it? Because they were college friends?"
Maria: "Mariah, they were more then college friends. They were lovers in college. They were engaged. Katie says that they were really serious and everyone thought they were the perfect couple. Richard didn't tell you?"
Mariah: "No."

Almost like magic tears come pouring down Mariah's face.

Mariah: "I've been made a fool of. Richard loves Katie, not me. What am I going to do?"

Maria continues to drive and Mariah cries and cries.

Wilson Home <Spare Bedroom>
Kyle walks back into the room and the expressions on Roger and Dominique's faces turn from anger and fury to happiness and joy.

Kyle: "Roger, I thought you were going to walk Dominique out?"
Roger: "I am. I was just showing her some other things on the web page. I'll walk you out now Dominique."
Dominique: "Okay. I'll see you later Kyle."
Kyle: "Bye honey."

Roger and Dominique walk out of the room. They walk through the house to the front door.

Roger: "Remember what I told you Dominique."
Dominique: "Cut it out Roger. I don't want to have the same conversation and argument over and over. I'm late I have to leave. Goodbye."

Dominique turns and walks off the porch down the path. Roger calls her and she continues to walk down the path.

Roger: "Wait."
Dominique: "I don't have time. Goodbye Roger."
Roger: "I want to warn you about something. I didn't want to tell you this just yet, but I don't have a choice. I know that Matt isn't Kyle's son."

Dominique stops dead in her tracks. She gasps. She begins to hyperventilate. She then collapses to the ground.
