Miranda and Geovanna stand in the library.
Miranda: Anything you want to know is in this room. Everything that has ever happened within this family is hidden in here.
Geovanna: Are you serious?
Miranda: Yes. I over heard Seņora Velez talking about all the secrets that are held within these walls. I even walked in on her looking at some personal papers.
Geovanna: Did she see you?
Miranda: No. I wouldnt be working here anymore if she had.
She walks over to the bookcase and pulls out a book. Not knowing that her hand passed through a red laser beaming by.
Miranda: Most of what you want to know, if not all, would probably be in this safe.
Geovanna looks at the book safe that Miranda is holding and can only smile.
C.V. Water Factory
Santa continues to sit at the desk at the factory. There are a few beeps heard. Santa looks worried. She opens a drawer and sees a light blinking.
Santa: Someones in the library. Theyll find me out.
Santa gets up and grabs her coat and runs out of the office. We then see her standing outside of the elevator waiting for it to arrive.
Santa: Whos in my library. If its Geovannaso help me God.
The elevator arrives and Santa gets on.
Velez Mansion
Geovanna grabs the book safe out of Mirandas hands.
Miranda: Youre not going to look inside there are you?
Geovanna: Well of course I amwhat else would I do with it?
Miranda: But why do you want to know Seņora Velezs secrets?
Geovanna: Because I know that she is covering up my mothers deathand when I find out what she had to do with her murder shell payand Ill have to proof I need. Nowhow do I open this?
Miranda: Are you sure thats all that you want to find out about? I believe that theres more.
Geovanna looks at Miranda worried.

Lindsey looks at Jason in shock.
Lindsey: What do you mean we cant have anymore of a relationship?
Jason: This is too hard Lindsey. This cant work anymore.
Lindsey: Less then an hour ago you told me that we would get through this and that nobody would stop our lovenot even my family. Why have you changed your mind?
Jason: Lindsey, you dont understand.
Lindsey: No, I think I do understand Jason. You really did just want me because I have moneyyou didnt really love me and now you realize that youre never going to get near that money so youre giving me all of these excuses to stop dating me. Well you know what, fine. Im done with this relationship.

Andrea OKeffe, a middle aged nurse at South Sea hospital and in her spare time a gold-digging bitch, enters the bedroom of her daughter, Brittany, who is 20 years old and sleeping. Andrea nudges Brittany.
Andrea: Brittany, wake up. Wake up. Brittany.
Brittany: What mom?
Andrea: Wake up. Its almost noon. We have a lot of preparing to do.
Brittany: Preparing? Preparing for what?
Andrea: For what? Are you kidding me? Tonight is the Annual Douglas Richmond party at the country club.
Brittany: And why is this important to us?
Andrea: Because were going!
Brittany: Us? Why?
Andrea: We have to find you a rich husband.
Brittany looks confused.
Blake Mansion
Jodi Blake, a rich middle aged doctor, is sitting in the garden of her and her families mansion. Her amazingly handsome of a husband lawyer, Bradley, comes up to her. Jodi and Brad was never a very happy couple. But they played it off in front of their parents like they were, they even had three children to make it seem as though their marriage was all peachy-keen. Once both sets of parents died and they in-heir all of their money and power they didnt need to pretend. Brad was very nice to everyone in his family except for Jodi. She had always been cold towards him and even though Brad had tried to smooth his way back into her life and her bed she wouldnt have it and longed to find true love.
Brad: Jodi? Is something wrong?
Jodi: Like youd care.
Brad: Excuse me?
Jodi: Dont pretend that all of a sudden you care about me, because I know you dont.
Brad: Listen Jodi
Jodi: No, Im done with listening to you, Brad. Everything you say is a lieour marriage is a lieits disgusting how we live our lives.
Brad: You amaze me with that cold attitude of yours. What an example youve set for our children?
Jodi: Oh, cut the crap Brad. Our children have always known that we dont really love each other, and I havent set any bad examples for any of our children. Take a look at them sometime. Its like they arent even Blakes, and I couldnt be happier about that. Christina and Edwin may still be in school, but they are certainly headed down the right path. Good thing they have Anthony.
Brad: They dont have Anthony, hes never home. They have me. Im the one that has taught them right from wrong and what path to follow.
Jodi: Youve done nothing of the sort! All youve ever done with them is talk about all your legal crap and about how someday the Blake family will overcome the Velez family and rule Watersdale again. Youre a terrible father, and like I said, if it werent for Anthony then they would end up just like us, but its never gonna happen. I wont allow it.
Brian: I expect my children to take my place when I die, and I will make sure that that is exactly what happens.
Brad and Jodi glare at each other in an evil tone of eye.

Jennifer is in her bedroom preparing to leave for work when she hears the front door open and then slam shut. She calls down the stairs.
Jennifer: Sam, is that you?
Jennifer heads downstairs soon after she hears no response.
Jennifer: Whos here? Hello? Hello?
Sam storms out of the kitchen and into the living room.
Jennifer: Oh, Sam, you scared me. Why didnt you answer me when I called down?
Sam ignores her and sits down and turns on the television and begins drinking his beer.
Jennifer: Hello, Sam, wake up.
He finally looks at herbut says nothing.
Jennifer: Whats wrong with you? Why are you drinking by the way? You know that the doctor said you shouldnt be drinking. Give me that.
Jennifer reaches for the can of beer but Sam smacks her hand out from grabbing it.
Sam: Dont touch itand dont touch me.
Jennifer gets angry and yells.
Jennifer: What the hell has gotten into you?
Sam and Jennifer stare at each other.

Brittany looks at Andrea confused.
Brittany: Are you still on that campaign?
Andrea: Well of course. Once we find you the perfect man youll be married immediately.
Brittany: I dont think well find any perfect men at this party tonight mom.
Andrea: Are you crazy? Of course well find the perfect man. Anybody who is anybody will be at this party, and theyre all millionaires and billionaires. Could you even imagine yourself being Mrs. Jose Velez, or Mrs. Anthony Blake? What the hell you dont even have to marry into one of those families. You could marry into the Lane family of Maryville. Andrea seriously stares at Brittanybut she cant bear to stare back.

Brad and Jodi continue to glare at each other. Appalled that Brad is challenging her Jodi continues to argue with him.
Jodi: Youre challenging me?
Brad: What?
Jodi: Youre challenging me. Youre saying that I wont be able to get our children to lead a normal life?
Brad: Thats right. I know that you wont be able to get them to lead what you call a normal life. You know why? Because they are already used to the power and wealth that goes along with the Blake name.
Jodi: Oh, the great and powerful Blake name? Is that way the Velezs are still more rich and powerful then us?
Brad: Dont start with that. I dont want you corrupting the children. If you try anything, Ill have you divorced in a New York minute. Then were would you goto Paul Forbes? Jodi gets worried and looks away from Brad.

We see Jodi with a guy walking through the park.
Jodi: I love you so much Paul.
Paul: I love you too, Jodi. Thats why I want you to be my wife.

Jodi looks back at Brad worried and suspicious. She thinks to herself:

Brad glares at Jodi in a surprisingly delight.

Miranda and Geovanna stand face to face.
Geovanna: What do you mean more? Do I need more of reason to check up on her?
Miranda: Well, I guess this is no time to pussyfoot around. I know
A door is heard being opened outside. The sound of footsteps approaching the library is heard next.
Geovanna: Do you hear that?
Miranda looks terrified. She grabs the book safe and puts it back where it belongs. The door begins to open and Miranda pushes Geovanna into the closet. Santa walks in; she looks around and then sees Miranda.
Santa: Whats going on in here?
Miranda looks terrified and they stare at each other.

Jennifer waits for Sam to answer.
Sam: Im sick of this life. Im sick of being here. Im sick of being married to you.
Jennifer: Its the alcohol talking Samwhy are you drunk again? You were supposed to be clean. You lied to me.

Lindsey turns to walk away, but Jason grabs her arm.
Lindsey: Get off Jason, before I have to do something I may regret.
Jason: No, Lindsey, you listen to me. Thats not the way things are. I dont love you because youre a Velez and your family has money. Thats the last thing Im interested in.
Lindsey: Then what is this really about? Because right now Im so confused. One minute you tell me that you love me and that nothingnothing could every come between our love for each other, and the next youre telling me that you think we can have anymore of a relationship. So what is it Jay? What is it?
Jason: Its your family. I told you that they would never allow this and I dont feel like starting World War III.
Lindsey: Youre letting something interfere with our loveand that is not right. How many times do I have to tell you that my family will accept you once they know how much I love you and how much you love me in return. They wont be able to do anything to stop us from seeing each other. Do you hear me? Nothing.
Lindsey and Jason hug and stare into each others eyes.
Jason: Im sorryfor loosing faith.
Lindsey: Its okay. Id probably do the same thing if our positions were switched around.

Without noticing Jose had stepped into view and heard what Lindsey said.

Andrea and Brittany walk into Lakeview Plaza.
Brittany: Remind me again why were going through all of this.

Andrea slaps Brittany. Everyone that is standing around looks. Brittany holds her face and then runs off to the bathroom. Andrea looks around at everyone looking at her.
Andrea: Why dont you all get your own lives.
Andrea enters the bathroom.

Brittany ignores her and continues putting make-up on her face.
Andrea: I try and make your life as easy as it can possibly be and I even go out of my way to find you the perfect mana man with money. What do I get in return? Nothingjust an ungrateful

Jodi remains silent and Brad continues to glare at her.

Without realizing, Edwin, Jodi and Brads youngest son comes into the garden.
Edwin: Mother!
Jodi: Edwin, darling. What are you doing here? I thought youd be out with Christina.
Edwin: We were going to go to Lakeview Plaza, but shes feeling a bit sick now.
Jodi: Is she okay?
Edwin: Yeah, shes fine. Ive been looking all over for you. The hospital has called here a ton of timesthey need you there immediately.
Jodi: Oh, thank you honey. I better get going.
Jodi gives Edwin a kiss, gives Brad a dirty look and runs back to the mansion. She soon gets into her car and leaves. Edwin and Brad start to walk back to the mansion.
Edwin: What were you and mother talking about?
Brad: Excuse me?
Edwin: When I walked into the garden, mother didnt seem too happy, and then what she said
Brad: Everything is fine.
Edwin: I dont buy it father. What was really going on?
Brad: Do you really want to know?
Edwin: Yes, very much so.
Brad: Okay, fine, Ill tell you.
Edwin looks at Brad with much interest.
Velez Mansion
Santa glares at Miranda as she waits for an answer.
Miranda: Nothing Seņora Velez.
Santa: Well, obviously something is happening. The alarm for the laser went off. What happened?
Miranda: I thought I heard someone in here, and when I came in nobody was here.
Santa: What made the alarm go off?
Miranda: I totally forgot that you had that silent laser alarm installed and I opened the closetand then I remembered. I knew you would come here so thats why I stayed. You know, to let you know that everything is just fineI was just being clumsy.
Santa: Well be more careful next time and dont forget about the new alarm
Miranda: I wont.
Santa: Well, Ill be back this evening in time to get ready for the Douglas Richmond party. Make sure my dress is pressed and ready for me when I get back.
Miranda: Yes.
Santa: Yeswhat?
Miranda: Yes Seņora Velez.
Santa begins to leave the room but then turns around and heads for the closet.
Miranda: What are you doing?
Santa: Getting a coat out of the closet.
Miranda: You cant.
Miranda looks scared and Santa stares at her. Geovanna stands in the closet hoping that Santa wont open it.

Jennifer looks at Sam in shock and with a frightened look on her face.
Jennifer: You dont mean that Sam.
Sam: Dont I?
Jennifer: Of course you dont.
Sam: I wouldnt be so sure if I were you. I mean, wouldnt you want to do the same thing if your spouse was as annoying and ungrateful and such a bitch as you are?
Sam says as he gets up off the couch and starts to walk towards Jennifer. Jennifer begins to step backwards.
Jennifer: Stop this Sam. Stop this right now.
Sam grabs her by the arms and pulls her close. Jennifer gasps.
Sam: Youre not going to live to see another day honey.

Jennifer says as she begins to cry.

Sam says as he forcefully pushes Jennifer. She falls hard and hits her head on the step. Sam looks at his unconscious wife in horror.
