Quinn Home (Living Room)

Amy walked down the staircase, to find her mother and father, already awake, and sitting in the living room. Jennifer was crying and Sam holding her.

"Have you guys heard anything about Ellen, yet?" Amy asked in a low and awkward voice.

"No." Sam quickly replied. "She wasn't in her bedroom when your mother checked this morning and she's not anywhere in the house." Sam continued as he held Jennifer tightly.

"Where could she be?" Jennifer, all of a sudden, blurted out. "I can't believe that this is happening. I was sure that she was going to come home last night." Jennifer continued as she stood up and paced back and forth in front of the sofa. "I was positive that I'd wake up and fine her fast asleep in her bed, but I was wrong! I was so wrong!" Jennifer lowered herself into a chair and continued to cry harder.

Amy walks over to her and wraps her arm around Jennifer's shoulders. "Ellen will be home soon, mom. You'll see. She'll come walking through that door at any moment."

"I hope your right, honey. I'd give anything to have that happen."

"I should call Kyle and Dominique to tell them that we won't be able to make it to Rogers funeral." Sam said, as he rose and walked over to the telephone. He picked it up and dialed a familiar number. "Hello Kyle." Sam greeted. "I'm not that good, Ellen is missing. Therefore, Jennifer, Amy and I won't be able to make it to the funeral today. I'm so sorry." He continued. "I will. Thank you." Sam hangs up the phone.

"I feel so bad that we can't go to the funeral. Roger was such a wonderful person. I wanted so much to pay my respects to him." Jennifer said.

"Mom, I'm sure that Mr. and Mrs. Wilson understand that we can't be there. Right now, we have Ellen to worry about. It wouldn't be right to go to the funeral while we have no clue where Ellen is."

"Amy's right, Jennifer. We have to stay here incase Ellen comes home. If it gets too late, we'll go out and start looking for her."

"You're both right. I'm going to go and make some tea." Jennifer stands up and heads for the kitchen, but she stops when she hears a loud thud. She turns to face Sam and Amy. "What was that?" She asks.

"It sounded like it came from outside the front door." Sam states.

"Maybe it's someone with a funky kind of knock." Amy assumes.

"No…maybe it's Ellen!" Jennifer rushes towards the front door, followed by Sam and Amy.

South Sea Watersdale Hospital (Megan's Room)

Patty, the head nurse at the hospital walks into Megan's room to change her IV bag. She screams when she discovers Andrea's lifeless body on the floor.

"Oh my goodness! Andrea! Andrea! Wake up!" She screams as she kneels beside the body and nudges her and pushes her.

Andrea begins to come to. She looks up at Patty and says, in a girlish, whining voice, "I don't want to go to school today, mommy. Mrs. Lock is mean and nasty."

Patty looks at Andrea strangely. "Andrea, wake up! What happened to you?"

Andrea snaps out of her hallucination and looks up at Patty, surprised. "What are you doing? Where am I?"

"You're on the floor in a patients room. Why are you here?"

"I don't know. I don't remember what happened. Last thing that I remember is," Andrea stops as she remembers what the last thing that happened was.

~Flashback~
Andrea walks back to the bed and looks down over Megan and says, "All right. It's time to finish what I started."

She places her hand back on the plug, ready to yank it out of the socket. She does, but sparks shoot out of the small holes and Andrea screams and gets jolted back about two feet.
~Flashback Ends~

"Well, what's the last thing that you remember?" Patty presses on.

"Oh, just that I was talking with Jodi. Then I remember coming in here to check on Megan." Andrea lies. "I don't know what could have happened to me."

"That means that you were in here all night long. Maybe you should have Dr. Blake check you out when she gets in. How can you trust that the same thing won't happen again?"

"I'm fine, Patty. Thanks for the concern." Andrea says as she finally stands to her feet.
"If you say so. But, you should go on home and freshen up. I don't think you're on today's schedule until this evening." Patty suggests.

Andrea thinks to herself: "I have to finish what I started with Megan. I have to make sure that she dies. But, there really isn't any hope that she is going to get better anytime soon. So, I'll just finish her off tonight." She then looks at Patty and says, "You're right. I think I will go home. I can't believe that I was on this floor all night. I must look like a mess. I'll see you later, okay?"

"No problem." Patty waves goodbye as Andrea walks out into the hallway.

"I don't know who your guardian angel is watching over you Megan, but I wouldn't count on her help next time around." Andrea says in a low, evil voice as she looks through the window at Megan.

Blake Mansion (Foyer)

"Anthony, are you sure that you don't want me to come to the airport with you?" Jodi asks her son as they stand in the foyer of the large mansion.

There is a single bag at Anthony's feet. He picks it up. "I'm positive mother. I'll call you as soon as I get to New York City, all right?"

"Well, I just don't want you to feel as though I don't care. I wish you'd just let me come to the airport with you. Just to see you off and make sure that everything is okay and running smoothly." Jodi coaxes.

"No, mother. You have to go to the hospital. You have work to do and patients to take care of. I'll be fine. I always have been." Anthony reassures her.

"I know. But, it's just that feeling that I get every time that you have to leave my side. It's just motherly instincts, I suppose."

"Listen, I want you to do me a favor."

"Anything."

"I wasn't able to visit my old friends because of how busy I've been and then with what happened with father, I just didn't have any time to go and see them. Will you at least tell Richard that I said hello? I know that will probably be the only one of my old friends that you'll see, but I'd feel better if he knew that I was thinking about him while I was here."

"I'll tell him. I should see him at the hospital today." Jodi promises.

"See, if you were to go to the airport, you wouldn't be able to tell Richard what I said." Anthony jokes.
"Oh, stop it." Jodi says at she lightly smacks his arm.

Jodi then looks up at him and smiles. She puts her hand on his face. "I'm so proud of you, and I don't think you'll ever really know how much."

They are about to embrace when they hear Edwin's voice from the top of the stairs.

"Bravo! The award for best mother and son team goes to Jodi Prescott-Blake and her wonderful, outstanding, precious, apple of her eye son, Anthony." He then begins to applaud, slowly and loudly.

Jodi and Anthony look up at him in disapproval and anything but amusement.

Velez Mansion (Foyer)

The doorbell rings and Bianca rushes to open it. She finds Paul Forbes standing on the opposite side.

"Can I help you with something?" Bianca asked.

Paul replied slowly, "Yes, I'm here for Lindsey."

Geovanna is coming down the stairs and hears this. She goes to the door and sees Paul. She asks, puzzled, "Why are you here for my daughter?"

"We're supposed to go to the morgue and meet with the undertaker. We have to finalize the preparations for my sons wake and funeral."

"I see." Said Geovanna. She turns to Bianca. "Will you please go and tell Lindsey that Mr. Forbes is here for her."

Bianca nods and heads up the stairs. Geovanna invites Paul into the mansion and they go into the living room and sit down across from each other, in two end chairs.

"Would you like something to drink?" Geovanna offers.

"No, thank you."

"I'm very sorry to hear about your son. That was an awful thing to have happened to him. Lindsey and I, well, the entire Velez family is just devastated about it."

"The entire Velez family? I find that hard to believe. Lindsey and you, Mrs. Velez yes, but certainly not your husband, your son and your mother-in-law. They were all so against Lindsey and Jason's relationship. I do want to thank you, though."

"Thank me for what?" Geovanna asks.

"You were so supportive of them. Lindsey confided in you when she first started dating Jason and you were all for it. You didn't warn her to stay away from him and you didn't go to your husband and mother-in-law to tell them about it. That meant a lot to both of them, and me. I feel that love is love, no matter what social class you come from."

"I believe in the same thing, Mr. Forbes…"

"Call me Paul, please." He interrupts.

"Okay. I believe in the same thing, Paul. When you love someone, then you should pursue it, no matter what outside forces are saying. Everyone should just follow his or her heart. However, that's not always possible when you come from such a wealthy family as the Velez's or the Blake's. You do understand that, right?"

"Yes, I do. That's why I suspect that your mother-in-law, and or, your husband were involved in the murder of my son. They were vehemently against Lindsey and Jason's love for one another."

"I know they were, but I know that my husband didn't have anything to do with Jason's murder. He would never stoop that low. My mother-in-law, yes, but still there isn't any evidence. I wish there were, though. I'd be the first to present it to a judge." Geovanna says, starting to get angry at even the thought of Santa.

"It doesn't sound as if you're too fond of your mother-in-law."

Geovanna stands and pours herself some water. "Oh, not too fond of her is an understatement. I loathe my mother-in-law. She thought that she'd be able to push me around once I married David, and she did, but I put a stop to it. I stood up for myself against her and I know that she hates it. She hates me just as much, if not more, as I hate her." She swallows the water in one gulp. "The thought of her makes my skin crawl."

"I get the picture."

"I'm so sorry to rant to you that way. It's just…"

He interrupts again, "I understand."

Lindsey walks into the living room. Paul stands. "Is everything all right?"

"Everything's fine, honey. I was just getting aquatinted with Paul. He's a very nice gentleman."

"Yes, he is. He taught Jason well, because he was just like him." Lindsey states. "But, anyway, are you ready to go, Mr. Forbes? I want to get this over with as soon as possible."

"So do I." Paul agrees. "Mrs. Velez, it was a pleasure meeting you. You've done an outstanding job raising Lindsey. You should be very proud of her."

"I am, thank you. And you can call me Geovanna."

"Well, Geovanna, nice meeting you, and I hope our paths cross again very soon."

"Likewise." Geovanna replies as they shake hands.

"Okay, mama, I'll see you later. We're kind of running late." Lindsey says as she and Paul begin to walk to the door.

"I'll see you later, honey. You be careful." Geovanna calls out as the door closes.

Watersdale Memorial Cemetery (Lot B31)

A line of cars, leaded by a hearse, makes their way through the well-sized cemetery to the burial site of Roger Wilson. Out of the first car come Kyle, Dominique, and their two children, Alexis and Matt. More family and friends pile out of the other cars and gather around the six-foot deep hole in the ground, where the closed casket is about to be placed. The ushers, including Kyle, make their way to the hearse and slowly begin to take the casket out. They carry it over to the burial place and put it down onto the lowering belts. They then take their respectful places in the crowd of people. Kyle's eyes fill with tears. Dominique wraps her arm around him.

"It'll be all right, honey. You'll see. Roger is going where he deserves to be." Dominique says lightly into her husband's ear. She then thinks to herself: "You don't know it Kyle, but where he deserves to be is hell, and that is where he'll be."

A priest stands at the head of the casket and begins to speak. "Ladies and Gentlemen. We are gathered here this morning to honor and pay our respects to Roger Wilson, a man that served this community for years as a teenager, a man that everyone could trust with their lives. Roger was a remarkable human being, with a heart of gold. As we know, he fell victim to a terrible act of violence. He didn't deserve it, but for some strange reason God felt it necessary to take our brother away in this manner." He continues, "What I'm trying to say is that nobody knows what the Lord has in store for him or her. I'm sure Roger wasn't expecting to die that night on his way home. Nobody expects to be gunned down in the middle of the street, while their walking home. But that's not our final decision. It's all up to the all mighty Lord. Sure, we're here crying for this poor boy that died so young, but we all must learn to move on. I knew Roger all his life and I know that's what he would want. I know that his older brother, Kyle will agree with me on that. So, now, we'll hear a few words from him."

Kyle looks up at the priest and sighs. He begins to walk to the head of the casket. He stands there and tries not to cry, but he can't. He breaks down again. Dominique rushes to his side to comfort him.

Quinn Home (Foyer)

Jennifer, Amy and Sam rush over to the front door. They see a shadow through the window.

"Someone's there!" Amy yells.

Jennifer opens the door and Ellen's body falls into the foyer of the home. She screams and kneels down beside her. Ellen is breathing heavily and is conscious, but barely. She has cuts, scrapes and bruises all over her half-naked body.

"Ellen…what happened to you? Honey! Ellen, talk to me. What happened?" Jennifer says in a cracked voice as she begins to cry.

"He hit me." Ellen manages to say as she is crying as well.

"Should I call an ambulance, mom?" Amy asks, worried.

"No!" Ellen screams as she continues to cry and breathe heavily.

"We have to make sure that you're okay. You have to go to the hospital." Sam tells her.

"You can't call an ambulance or the police. He'll kill me if you do." Ellen replies.

"Who is he? Who are you talking about, Ellen?" Amy questions.

"I don't know, but he beat me up and raped me." She finally confesses.

Jennifer gasps and covers her mouth with her hand. She cries harder. Sam and Amy are in shock when they hear this.

"We should get her washed up and calmed down so she can explain everything to us." Sam suggests.

"That's a good idea." Jennifer agrees. "Come on, honey. Stand up and come upstairs. We'll get you all clean and put some fresh clothes on you." She says as she helps Ellen to get up. They start to head up the stairs.

"I'm going to go put some coffee on, so she can have some when she's done." Sam says to Amy. He goes to the kitchen.

Amy stands alone in the foyer. She says aloud to herself, "This is all my fault. If I wouldn't had been so mean to her at the funeral home, then she wouldn't have left by herself. This wouldn't have happened. What have I done? I'm such a horrible person." She begins to cry and holds herself.

Blake Mansion (Foyer)
"Why don't you just cut it out, Edwin." Anthony calls up to his little brother, as he begins to descend the stairs.

"Oh, you're so modest. Aren't you used to being praised yet, Anthony? You've gotten mother's praises all your life and now you're receiving them from almost the entire world for the acting career that you've got." Edwin says in a semi-evil, semi-sarcastic tone.

"Nobody said that I like them."

"Stop it. Don't make me laugh. You love all of the attention, whether it's from mother, or all of your adoring fans."

"That's enough Edwin! I'm sick of your badgering." Jodi finally yells.

"You just can't handle the truth, mother. Neither can you Anthony."

"You are my sixteen year old son, and I will not have you speak to me this way." Jodi says quickly and harshly.

"Calm down, mother. I'm leaving. No need to get dramatic. And you Anthony, when are you leaving?"

"Soon."

"Good. C-ya!" Edwin exclaims as he leaves the room.

"I don't know what has gotten into that boy. I swear he spends too much time with Brad." Jodi says.

"There's your answer. Brad has gotten into him." Anthony states.

Blue '86 Cadillac (Paul's Car)

Paul is driving his car, with Lindsey in the passenger seat. They are on their way to make sure that the arrangements for Jason's wake and funeral are final.

"Where you able to get a hold of Mr. Linden?" Lindsey asks Paul.

"Yes, I called him last night to make sure that everything was set. He knows that we're coming at this time. He'll have Jason ready for us to see." He responds.

Lindsey hesitates, but continues to question him. "What did you get for him to wear?"

"I had an old blue suit that happened to fit him. When we see him he'll be dressed and made up. He should look just fine."

"I hope so." Lindsey begins to breathe heavily. "I must admit, though, I'm really afraid to see him. It was frightening enough to see his dead body at the park. Now, I'll have to see him all made up and dressed. I just hope that I don't break down."

"I'm here to support you, Lindsey. Actually, we have to support each other. This is a tough time for both of us."

"I know. We loved Jason in such different ways, but we both loved him so much. He was the only boy that I've ever really loved. It hurts me so much to have him gone."

"He was my only son…my only child. It's just as hard on me. He was my pride and joy. I had such high hopes for him. I knew that he'd amount to something, but I guess I was wrong. But, let's not talk about it anymore. The sooner this is over with and the sooner we forget about it and move on with our lives the better."

"Yeah. You know I'm really depressed about this whole thing. I actually attempted suicide last night." Lindsey confides.

"No, Lindsey. You didn't." Paul replies in disbelieve.

"It's true. Thank God that my mother and father were able to stop me before I actually hurt myself, or worse, killed myself."

"I don't want you to ever do that again. I love you as if you were my own daughter. If you were to die so close after Jason, I'd really be upset."

"Thank you, Mr. Forbes. You've always been so kind to me. I really appreciate it."

They continue down the road. Both scared to get to the morgue.

Blake Mansion (Foyer)

Brad and Christina walk into the foyer, where Jodi and Anthony are still talking.

"So, son, you're leaving us so soon, are you?" Brad shouts as he gets into the foyer.

"Yes. I've been here for a week. It's time for me to get one with my business."

"Well, you know, this week has gone by so fast, it didn't even seem like you've been here for so long." Christina says. "But, I loved having you home. At least we were able to hang out for a little while last week." She continues.

They all exchange a hug and a kiss and the chauffeur takes his bag out to the car waiting for him.

"I'll call you when I get to New York City, all right?"

"You better! I want to make sure you and everything else is okay." Jodi says sternly.

"Well, I better get going before I miss my flight."

They all wave and shout goodbye as he walks out the door, gets into the black Lincoln Continental. The car drives out of the estate.

"He's gone, again, Jodi. I hope you were able to get enough of him while he was here." Brad says bluntly.

Jodi turns to him. "Don't start with me, Brad. I'm not in the mood." She walks past him and into the house.

Quinn Home (Kitchen)

Sam sets a cup of coffee down in front of Ellen and sits down in the only empty seat left at the table for four.

"Keep going honey. You said that you were walking down near Mills Avenue when you saw a man walking in the opposite direction on the other side of the street. What happened next?" Sam asks.

"Well, I saw that man start to cross the street. All of a sudden he was running towards me. I didn't think it was me that he was running after, so I just kept walking at my normal pace. Then I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me when he hit me from behind. I feel to the ground and he dragged me behind a building near by. I didn't even know where I was by then." Ellen tells everyone. She continues, "Almost immediately he smacked me across my face. He started to pull my hair as I began to struggle. It was so horrible."

Jennifer pulls her chair close to Ellen's, and wraps her arm around her. "I'm so sorry this happened to you. I just can't get over it. It's so terrible."

"I never want to have to live through anything like that again. The way he hit me and the way he tore my clothes off and…uh! I just never want to think about it again." Ellen continues.

"What about his face? Did you see his face? Can you describe him?" Sam questions.

"No. I didn't see his face. It was really dark and I'm pretty sure that he was wearing a baseball cap."

"I don't know how, but we're going to find that bastard. I'm going to make him pay for doing this to my daughter. We'll get through this, and in the end that bastard will be in prison. I'll make sure of it, if it's the last thing I do."

South Sea Watersdale Hospital (Megan's Room)

Patty is fixing Megan's IV bag, when all of sudden the sounds coming out of the machines change. Megan begins to move and open her eyes.

"Oh my God. She's finally coming too. This is a miracle!" Patty exclaims as she runs out of the room to tell another nurse or doctor.

Suddenly the image of a women dressed in white appears standing next her bed. "Don't worry, Megan. I'm here for you. I'll always be here. I'll protect you, always." She says in a low whisper.

Megan looks over at her and says in a low, faint voice, "Mom…"

Watersdale Local Morgue (Office Area)

Paul and Lindsey walk into the morgue and knock on Mr. Linden's office door. "Come in!" He calls out. They enter and sit down across from him.

"Oh, Mr. Forbes and Miss Velez. I was afraid of this. I tried to get a hold of you at home, Mr. Forbes, but you had already left and I didn't have the telephone number for the Velez mansion." Mr. Linden, the undertaker, says in a haunted voice.

"Is something wrong? You sound worried." Lindsey asks.

"Yes, Miss Velez, something is wrong…terribly wrong."

"What is it?" Paul curiously asks.

"I'm so sorry. This has never happened before and I don't know how to say it, but Jason's body is missing. I believe someone stole it."

Lindsey and Paul look at Mr. Linden in shock and surprise.

Watersdale Memorial Cemetery (Lot B31)

Kyle stands at the head of the closed casket that contains an assortment or arranged flowers on top of it. He looks out at the many people looking at him, waiting for him to make his speech. He begins.

"First, and foremost, I'd like to thank all of you for paying your respects to my brother, Roger. I know that he'd appreciate this. Perhaps he is looking down at us and watching this. If he is, I know that he is appreciative. The turn out is unbelievable. I didn't realize how many people my little brother knew. This is amazing. I'm going to start by giving you all a little insight on Roger. I'm going to tell you a story from when…"

His speech is interrupted when gunshots begin to go off. Everyone drops to the ground immediately, as the bullets continue to fly over their heads.
